Do you have any employees currently that need to obtain a CDL, change their existing CDL class, or need to add an endorsement to their CDL? These circumstances require ELDT training. NW ELDT is here to help! Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) is required by the Federal Motor Carrier (FMCSA) for certification prior to an applicant being allowed to participate in their practical commercial drive test. ELDT consists of Theory (classroom based work that can be obtained through us or an online provider), Range (practical pre-trip and backing maneuvers), and Road (practical road training). Providers must register with FMCSA and certify they meet applicable Federal and State training requirements. NW ELDT is registered & approved by the FMCSA. NW ELDT is a traveling provider that will come to your location and use your vehicle for the training. All training is scheduled for 2 days, however, can vary depending on how the applicant is retaining the material and any previous training. The size of the group training could also extend this. Our instructors are very knowledgeable & have many years experience not only training, but driving commercial vehicles. Once you’ve met the criteria for all portions of ELDT, you will then be certified. We enter your training hours & score directly in the FMCSA at the end of your training. Allowing you to be verified with a testing agent immediately, resulting in getting your CDL test scheduled quicker. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or would like to schedule. We look forward to providing excellent, thorough, & knowledgeable training to your staff.
